Hitting Attributes

CON L – Contact vs Left-Handed Pitchers

Boosts your batter's ability to make consistent, solid contact against left-handed pitchers. A higher Contact rating increases the size of the inner PCI, giving you more margin for error when aiming and timing your swing.

CON R – Contact vs Right-Handed Pitchers

Improves your batter's ability to make solid contact against right-handed pitchers. This also increases the inner PCI for more consistent at-bats.

POW L – Power vs Left-Handed Pitchers

Determines how much force your batter can generate against left-handed pitchers. Higher Power ratings lead to harder-hit balls, more extra-base hits, and more home runs.

POW R – Power vs Right-Handed Pitchers

Impacts how hard the batter hits the ball against right-handed pitchers. A higher rating boosts exit velocity, making it easier to drive the ball for home runs and extra-base hits.

VIS – Vision

Controls the size of the outer PCI, which helps you stay alive in at-bats. High Vision allows for more foul balls and fewer swing-and-misses when you slightly mistime or misplace your swing.

DISC – Plate Discipline

Improves a batter's ability to check their swing when tapping (but not fully pressing) the swing button. This stat determines whether the game counts it as a swing or hold. It does not affect the visual animation.

CLU – Clutch (Hitting)

Comes into play during high-pressure at-bats like runners in scoring position or late innings. In these moments, Clutch replaces the Contact rating and can increase the PCI if your Clutch is higher than the pitcher's Pitching Clutch.

BNT – Bunting

Determines how well your batter can lay down a standard bunt by pressing the bunt button early. A higher rating results in more controlled bunts and better success reaching base.

DBNT – Drag Bunting

Measures how effective a batter is at drag bunting, where you bunt with late timing (similar to swinging). This stat also helps determine how quickly the batter leaves the box after contact.

DUR – Durability

Influences how likely a player is to get injured, especially in Franchise and Road to the Show. For pitchers, it also affects how quickly stamina regenerates between outings.

Fielding Attributes

FLD – Fielding

Determines how cleanly a player can field the ball and whether they get good defensive animations. Higher ratings reduce errors and increase play efficiency.

ARM – Arm Strength

Controls how fast and far a player can throw. It's especially important for outfielders making throws to home plate and infielders trying to throw out speedy runners.

ACC – Arm Accuracy

Affects how often your throw lands on target, especially when using Button Accuracy throwing. A higher rating increases the green accuracy zone and leads to more accurate throws.

REAC – Reaction

Determines how quickly a player breaks toward the ball once it's put in play. Higher Reaction helps fielders get better jumps, which can make up for lower speed or fielding ratings.

BLK – Blocking

Applies to catchers and represents how well they stop wild pitches. A high rating prevents passed balls and keeps runners from taking extra bases on pitches in the dirt.

SPD – Speed

Measures how fast a player runs. It's important for baserunning, fielding range, and beating out infield hits.

STL – Stealing

Determines the quality of a runner's jump when attempting to steal a base. It also impacts how often a player gets picked off when taking a big lead.

BR AGG – Baserunning Aggressiveness

Affects how aggressively a player runs the bases in CPU or sim situations. Players with high ratings are more likely to stretch singles into doubles or attempt steals without user input.

Pitching Attributes

STA – Stamina

Represents how many pitches a pitcher can throw before tiring. Higher Stamina means they can go deeper into games and maintain velocity and control longer.

H/9 – Hits per 9 Innings

Impacts how large the batter's inner PCI appears. A higher H/9 makes it harder for opponents to make solid contact, resulting in fewer hits allowed.

K/9 – Strikeouts per 9 Innings

Reduces the size of the outer PCI for batters, making it tougher for them to foul off borderline pitches and increasing strikeout potential.

BB/9 – Walks per 9 Innings

Affects how forgiving the pitching interface is when you miss your input. A higher BB/9 helps your pitcher throw more accurately even on imperfect meter or pinpoint timing.

HR/9 – Home Runs per 9 Innings

Controls how much power batters can generate on contact. This stat is mostly used in simulation modes like Franchise and RTTS, and has no effect in Diamond Dynasty gameplay.

PCLT – Pitching Clutch

Becomes active in high-pressure moments with runners on second or third. In these situations, Pitching Clutch replaces H/9, reducing the batter's PCI if your Pitching Clutch is higher than their Clutch stat.

CTRL – Control

Measures how precisely a pitcher can hit the intended spot. Each pitch has a separate control rating, and better Control leads to fewer meatballs and more accuracy, especially with breaking and off-speed pitches.

VEL – Velocity

Indicates how fast a pitcher can throw. Higher Velocity means higher pitch speeds, which are tougher to time and react to.

BRK – Break

Determines how much movement a pitch has. This stat is pitch-specific and a higher Break means more devastating sliders, curves, and off-speed pitches.
