August Spotlight Drop 2 reaches 99 OVR Gunnar Henderson at 50 program points. You can clear that mark without locking cards into either optional collection.
Quick answer: Finish the seven standard moments for 28 points, earn 5,000 Parallel XP with any players for 15, then complete either 20 extra-base hits or 15 strikeouts with starting pitchers. That route reaches 53 points for Gunnar Henderson.
How do you get 99 Gunnar Henderson?
Gunnar Henderson is the 50-point reward in August Spotlight Drop 2. The program also gives you Will Dion at 10 points, Tommy White at 20, an August Spotlight Week 2 Pack at 40 and 5,000 total XP across its two 2,500-XP checkpoints.
The seven standard moments are worth four points each. They are followed by four standard missions that count in Ranked, Ranked Co-op, Battle Royale, Events, Weekend Classic, Play vs CPU, Mini Seasons, Conquest and Diamond Quest.

The no-lock-in route to 50 points
The clean route starts with all seven moments. That gives you 28 points and already unlocks Dion and White on the reward path.
Then earn 5,000 Parallel XP with any players for 15 more points. From 43, either of these 10-point missions puts you over the 50-point Gunnar threshold:
| Mission | Points | Running total |
|---|---|---|
| Seven moments | 28 | 28 |
| Earn 5,000 PXP with any players | 15 | 43 |
| Get 20 extra-base hits with any players | 10 | 53 |
| or: strike out 15 hitters with starting pitchers | 10 | 53 |
The 1,000-PXP mission with Spotlight and Topps Now Series cards is another 15-point option. It is not required for the route above.
Which tasks are optional?
Two card collections add 35 and 15 points. One asks you to collect both Spotlight Series players from the August Spotlight Drop 2 Pack, and the other asks for the three Topps Now players in that pack. Collected cards become No Sell, so do not use either one just to bridge a few points when the standard missions already clear 50.
The program also lists one-point August Lightning and August Retro Lightning collection tasks. Those collections point to rewards coming September 4, but they are not needed for Henderson.
What should you do first?
Start with the moments, then choose the standard PXP mission plus the hitting or pitching mission that fits what you are already playing. Claim Henderson at 50 and keep the pack collections as optional progress, not a required purchase.
The August Spotlight Drop 2 pack is separate from the free program path. Check its live card list before deciding whether its optional lock-ins make sense for your club.
