August Spotlight Drop 4 is live with a 99 OVR Alex Bregman at 140 program points. The fourth program card also completes the four-card August Lightning set, which awards 99 JJ Bleday at three cards and 99 Jac Caglianone at all four.
Quick answer: Complete the seven standard moments for 35 points, then any four standard 30-point missions for 155 points. That clears the 140-point Bregman reward without using the optional Extreme moment or locking Spotlight pack cards into the program collection.
What is in August Spotlight Drop 4?
The official August Spotlight Drop 4 program has player cards every 10 points through the 140-point Bregman reward. The program's 500-point pack is separate from that first reward path.

How do you reach 140 points without the optional collection?
Seven normal moments are worth five points each. The standard mission list has six 30-point entries, and they all name the same eligible modes: Ranked, Ranked Co-op, Battle Royale, Events, Weekend Classic, Play vs CPU, Mini Seasons, Conquest and Diamond Quest.
You need four of those standard missions after the moments: 35 points from moments plus 120 mission points equals 155. The available missions are 10,000 Parallel XP with any players, 2,500 Parallel XP with Spotlight or Topps Now players, 30 hits with primary infielders, 50 total bases with primary outfielders, 18 innings with any pitchers and 24 strikeouts with primary starting pitchers.
The 75-point PCA Extreme moment can reduce the number of standard missions needed, but the catalog labels it optional Extreme. The 140-point Spotlight-pack collection is also optional and makes collected items no-sell, so it is not part of the no-purchase route above.
What do the August Lightning collections require?
The August Lightning collection requires all four August Spotlight program cards. Its reward ladder opens Bleday after any three, then Caglianone after all four.
| Cards collected | Reward |
|---|---|
| 3 of 4 | 99 JJ Bleday |
| 4 of 4 | 99 Jac Caglianone |
The four required cards are Angel Genao, Gunnar Henderson, Nick Sogard and Alex Bregman. Bleday is a 99 OVR Milestone left fielder with center-field and right-field eligibility. Caglianone is a 99 OVR Spotlight right fielder with first-base and left-field eligibility.

The Retro Lightning path is separate
The August Retro Lightning collection uses 16 August Spotlight Pack players, not the four program rewards. It gives an August Spotlight Player Pack at five cards, 99 Corey Seager at eight and 99 Kris Bryant at 13.
That means the program collection and Retro collection are separate decisions. Finish the Drop 4 program before deciding whether to lock cards into either collection. Once a card is collected, it cannot be sold.

What should you do first?
Start with the normal moments and choose four standard missions that fit what you are already playing. That reaches Bregman without relying on either optional collection.
After Bregman, collect the four program cards only if you want the 99 Bleday and 99 Caglianone ladder. Treat the 16-card Retro collection as a separate inventory decision, because its eligible pack cards and no-sell commitment are different.
