MLB The Show 26's October 24 Stubs sale brings the 150,000 bundle to $49.99 and the 67,500 bundle to $24.99 in the U.S. PlayStation and Xbox stores. Both are marked 50% off. Smaller bundles have discounts of 30% or 40%, and the PlayStation deadlines vary by bundle.
Quick answer: The 150,000 bundle has the lowest price per 1,000 Stubs among the six discounted tiers below. The separate 7,500-Stubs offer costs $2.99, which is less money for more Stubs than the discounted 5,000 bundle at $3.49.
What are the U.S. Stubs sale prices?
The official October 24 announcement links to both platform stores. These prices appear on PlayStation's U.S. Stubs page and Xbox's U.S. add-on listings.
| Stubs | Sale price | Listed discount | Cost per 1,000 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 150,000 | $49.99 | 50% | $0.33 |
| 67,500 | $24.99 | 50% | $0.37 |
| 24,000 | $11.99 | 40% | $0.50 |
| 11,000 | $5.99 | 40% | $0.54 |
| 5,000 | $3.49 | 30% | $0.70 |
| 1,000 | $0.69 | 30% | $0.69 |
Prices were checked October 24 at 19:05 UTC and are in U.S. dollars before any checkout tax. Cost per 1,000 is the listed price divided by the bundle size, multiplied by 1,000 and rounded to the nearest cent. These are currency purchases, so the game is separate.
The 150,000 bundle saves $50 against its listed $99.99 regular price. The 67,500 bundle saves $25 against $49.99. The larger bundle has a lower unit cost, but it also requires twice the upfront spending.
For a smaller purchase, both stores also list a 7,500-Stubs special offer for $2.99. That works out to about $0.40 per 1,000. It is separate from the six percentage-off tiers and has no percentage discount shown. Check that offer's availability on your account before choosing a smaller bundle.
When does the sale end?
The U.S. PlayStation product pages show two different cutoffs:
- 5,000 Stubs: October 31 at 11:59 p.m. PT, or November 1 at 06:59 UTC.
- 1,000, 11,000, 24,000, 67,500 and 150,000 Stubs: November 4 at 11:59 p.m. PT, or November 5 at 07:59 UTC.
The Xbox 150,000-Stubs offer shows “ends in 7 days” on October 24. Use its current timer for the Xbox cutoff. The PlayStation dates do not establish an Xbox deadline.
Buy for the platform where you play
PlayStation's Stubs page says purchased Stubs do not transfer between game platforms. Choose the store for the platform where you intend to use them, then confirm the final price and timer for your region. The U.S. prices above do not establish prices in other currencies or a Nintendo Switch offer.
You can also keep progressing without a currency purchase. The Retro World Series Program awards four 99 OVR cards through moments and team PXP missions, ending with David Ortiz at 50 points.
