The Retro Championship Series Program is live in MLB The Show 26, with 99 Awards Justin Verlander at 50 points. The free path also gives you 99 Jhonkensy Noel, 99 Zack Britton and 99 Vladimir Guerrero Jr. You need all ten moments and all four team Parallel XP missions to finish it.
Quick answer: Complete the ten moments for 30 points, then earn 410 PXP with Yankees players, 260 with Dodgers players, 2,026 with Guardians or Rays players, and 2,026 with Dodgers or Brewers players. The four missions add 20 points. Dodgers PXP counts toward both Dodgers requirements.
San Diego Studio announced the four 99 OVR rewards on October 13. This is a separate program from the Retro Division Series path, which ends with Anthony Santander.
Every moment is worth three points
The ten moments add up to 30 points. That gets you through the first three player rewards before you finish the team missions. Each moment is a separate requirement, so completing only the moments stops short of Verlander.

There is no spare point block on this path. Ten moments at three points each plus four missions at five points each equals exactly 50. You cannot replace a missed moment with an exchange, collection or repeatable mission from this program.
The four team missions add 20 points
Parallel XP, or PXP, comes from using eligible player cards. These missions use team requirements. You can use Yankees, Dodgers, Guardians, Rays and Brewers cards you already own rather than buying a particular series or waiting for a new program reward.

Use Dodgers cards for at least 260 of the NL Championship Series mission's 2,026 PXP. Those same 260 PXP also meet the separate Dodgers mission. For example, 2,026 PXP earned entirely with Dodgers cards clears both requirements. If you use only Brewers cards for the NL mission, you still need the separate 260 Dodgers PXP.
The two Championship Series missions let you mix the named teams. You can split the AL total between Guardians and Rays cards, and the NL total between Dodgers and Brewers cards. Keep Yankees cards in the squad as well until their 410-PXP requirement is done.
You can complete the missions offline
The listed eligible modes are 1 vs 1 Ranked, Ranked Co-op, Battle Royale, Events, Weekend Classic, Play vs CPU, Mini Seasons, Conquest and Diamond Quest. Play vs CPU and Conquest give you offline options for working on the team requirements.
There is no multiplayer win requirement in these four missions. Choose a listed mode that fits the squad you want to use, then check the team totals as you progress. You still need to complete the moments separately, even if you have already finished every team mission.
Mini Seasons is on the mission list. SDS has also acknowledged a reported Mini Seasons bug and referred it for investigation. If that issue affects your run, Play vs CPU and Conquest are other listed modes for these missions. The studio has not announced a fix in that post.
What you unlock along the way
Jhonkensy Noel unlocks at 10 points, Zack Britton at 20, and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. at 30. Noel and Britton are The Show Classics cards. Guerrero and Verlander are Awards cards.
The 40-point checkpoint gives you a Deluxe Choice Pack. Justin Verlander finishes the path at 50. The reward checkpoints also total 6,026 account XP, which is separate from the 50 program points.

The Verlander card you earn
This is Verlander's 99 OVR Awards card for his 2017 Astros season. It has 111 stamina, 115 H/9, 112 K/9 and 101 BB/9, with 99 velocity, control and break. It is a No Sell reward, so you earn this version through the program rather than buying it on the Community Market.
