September Spotlight Drop 4 gives you 99 OVR Riley Greene at 140 program points. You can earn him with regular moments and missions using cards you already own, without buying the new pack, collecting its players, or completing the Extreme moment.
San Diego Studio released the program and its separate ten-player pack on October 2. The program has eight player rewards, including six 99 OVR cards, while the pack's cards offer an optional 140-point collection shortcut.
Quick answer: Complete any four regular moments for 20 points, then finish the 30-hit, 50-total-base, 18-inning and 30-strikeout missions for another 120. That reaches Greene's 140-point threshold exactly.
How to get Riley Greene without a collection
Open September Spotlight Drop 4 in Spotlight Programs. The seven regular moments each award five points. The separate moment labeled OPTIONAL EXTREME awards 75, but you can leave it alone.
The four missions below work with any qualifying players. You do not need Greene or another Drop 4 reward to start them.
| Task | Requirement | Points |
|---|---|---|
| Four regular moments | Choose any four of the seven non-Extreme moments | 20 |
| Hits with infielders | 30 hits with primary C, 1B, 2B, 3B or SS players | 30 |
| Total bases with outfielders | 50 total bases with primary LF, CF or RF players | 30 |
| Innings with any pitchers | Pitch 18 innings | 30 |
| Strikeouts with any pitchers | Strike out 30 batters | 30 |
| Total | Reaches Riley Greene | 140 |
Use primary positions for the hitting missions. A card's secondary eligibility alone does not meet those stated position requirements. Build your lineup around the infield hits and outfield total bases, then use your pitchers for the innings and strikeouts.
All four missions list Play vs CPU, Mini Seasons, Conquest and Diamond Quest as eligible offline modes. They also list 1 vs 1 Ranked, Ranked Co-op, Battle Royale, Events and Weekend Classic. Choose an eligible mode you already want to play.
There are two other standard missions, also worth 30 points each: earn 10,000 Parallel XP (PXP) with any players, or earn 2,500 PXP with Spotlight and/or Topps Now players. Either can replace one of the four 30-point missions above. All six standard missions are one-time tasks.
If you prefer to finish every regular moment first, those seven give you 35 points. Any four standard missions then bring the total to 155, which clears Greene with 15 points to spare. This is another valid route, without a requirement to buy cards or repeat a mission.
Every player reward and its point threshold
Greene is the last player on the path, at 140 points. Christian Encarnacion arrives just before him at 130. The two opening Topps Now cards are 97 OVR, and the six Spotlight cards that follow are 99 OVR.
| Program points | Player | OVR | Primary position |
|---|---|---|---|
| 30 | Bo Davidson | 97 | RF |
| 40 | Jedixson Páez | 97 | RP |
| 70 | Seranthony Domínguez | 99 | RP |
| 80 | Connor Prielipp | 99 | SP |
| 90 | A.J. Ewing | 99 | CF |
| 100 | Griffin Conine | 99 | RF |
| 130 | Christian Encarnacion | 99 | 3B |
| 140 | Riley Greene | 99 | LF |
The path also gives you packs at 10, 20, 50 and 120 points. Its two XP rewards, at 60 and 110 points, each grant 10,000 XP. Those 20,000 XP are separate rewards, rather than points you need to earn for Greene.

The Drop 4 pack collection is optional
The September Spotlight Drop 4 pack contains the following ten featured Spotlight players. They are a separate group from the eight program rewards.
| Pack player | OVR | Primary position |
|---|---|---|
| Eugenio Suárez | 99 | 3B |
| Spencer Torkelson | 99 | 1B |
| Jakob Marsee | 99 | CF |
| Reid Detmers | 99 | SP |
| Vinnie Pasquantino | 99 | 1B |
| Dominic Canzone | 99 | RF |
| Brandyn Garcia | 99 | RP |
| Trevor Rogers | 99 | SP |
| Nate Lavender | 99 | RP |
| Rafael Flores | 99 | C |
The program's optional collection asks you to collect all ten for 140 program points. That amount alone meets Greene's threshold, but collected player items become No Sell. Keep that consequence in mind before using cards you could otherwise sell.
The gallery shows the pack's featured player cards. A card appearing here does not establish a guaranteed pull or a particular choice round.

If Greene is your only target, the moments-and-missions route lets you keep those pack cards uncollected. If you choose the Extreme route instead, all seven regular moments, the 75-point Extreme moment and one 30-point standard mission also total exactly 140. You do not need both the Extreme moment and the collection.
What happens after you earn Greene?
The program includes a separate mission for 500 PXP with Spotlight Riley Greene. It awards 500 program points toward the September Spotlight Player Pack at the 500-point checkpoint.
Earn Greene first, then put this Spotlight version into an eligible squad if you want that pack. This mission cannot help you unlock Greene from zero because it requires his card. It is also a one-time mission, so do not plan on repeatedly earning the pack through it.
