The 99 OVR ALCS MVP Freddy Peralta is now the 38-card reward in the 2026 Postseason collection. You can reach him with 36 player cards from the ten Wild Card, Division Series and Championship Series programs, then collect the earlier Munetaka Murakami and Jake Bauers rewards. No pack purchase is needed for that route.
Quick answer: Finish the ten reactive Postseason programs for 36 eligible cards. Collect Murakami at 27 and Bauers at 32, then add both rewards to the collection. Those 38 cards unlock Peralta.
San Diego Studio announced Peralta's collection arrival on October 20. Open the 2026 Postseason collection to check the eligible versions before collecting anything.
How do you reach 38 without buying cards?
The first eight programs, covering the Wild Card and Division Series rounds, supply 27 cards. That reaches Murakami's milestone. Claim him and collect his card before moving through the Championship Series rewards.
The Dodgers vs. Brewers Program supplies four more cards. With Murakami included, that puts the collection at 32 and unlocks Bauers. Claim and collect Bauers, then add the five Guardians vs. Rays cards to reach 38.
| Step | New eligible cards | Collection total |
|---|---|---|
| Four Wild Card programs | 13 | 13 |
| Four Division Series programs | 14 | 27 |
| Claim and collect Murakami | 1 | 28 |
| Dodgers vs. Brewers Program | 4 | 32 |
| Claim and collect Bauers | 1 | 33 |
| Guardians vs. Rays Program | 5 | 38 |
That is a route from zero eligible cards. If you already collected some of these rewards, use your current collection count to find the missing step. Program progress and collection progress are separate: earning a card does not automatically collect it.
Which ten programs supply the cards?
Each number below counts player cards that belong to this exact collection. The final column is the point milestone needed to claim the last player card in that program.
| Program | Player cards | Last card unlock |
|---|---|---|
| White Sox vs. Astros Program | 3 | 25 points |
| Red Sox vs. Yankees Program | 3 | 25 points |
| Cubs vs. Padres Program | 3 | 25 points |
| Phillies vs. Braves Program | 4 | 25 points |
| Yankees vs. Rays Program | 3 | 25 points |
| White Sox vs. Guardians Program | 4 | 25 points |
| Braves vs. Dodgers Program | 4 | 25 points |
| Padres vs. Brewers Program | 3 | 25 points |
| Dodgers vs. Brewers Program | 4 | 50 points |
| Guardians vs. Rays Program | 5 | 50 points |
The programs total 36 player cards: 13 from the Wild Card round, 14 from the Division Series, four from the NLCS and five from the ALCS. Claim every player reward on those paths, including the earlier checkpoints.
The Division Series guide covers the first three Division Series drops. The Guardians vs. Rays guide explains how its four missions reach 50 points without moments or the collection task. You can leave the programs' optional collection tasks alone while earning the cards for this route.
Why doesn't the 39-card checklist mean one free skip?
Peralta himself appears on the eligible checklist. You cannot count that final reward toward the 38 cards needed to unlock him.
The current list contains 36 program cards and three collection rewards: Murakami, Bauers and Peralta. Before earning Peralta, the available route is all 36 program cards plus the two earlier collection rewards. That equals 38, so this route leaves no other player card out.
Collect the exact 2026 Postseason versions shown on the checklist. A traditional Postseason card, a Retro Championship Series reward or another version of the same player does not qualify simply because its name or theme looks similar. Collecting a card locks it into the collection and makes it No Sell.
The live collection below shows the reward checkpoints and links to the eligible card list. The program route above does not depend on a market-price estimate.

If Peralta is your target, finish the missing program paths and claim Murakami and Bauers as their milestones open. The decisive count is 36 program cards plus those two rewards. The five cards from the latest ALCS program alone do not unlock him.
