Teoscar Hernández Spotlight card between Bryan Woo and Thomas Saggese cards over a night ballpark background
September Spotlight Drop 1 ends at 50 points for 99 Teoscar Hernández. Five moments and two overlapping PXP missions reach him without card lock-ins.

September Spotlight Drop 1 is live in Diamond Dynasty with 99 OVR Teoscar Hernández at 50 program points. The path also includes 97 OVR Luis Campusano, 97 OVR Lazaro Montes, 5,000 XP and a September Spotlight Week 1 Pack.

Quick answer: Finish five standard moments for 20 points, use the 97 Lazaro Montes reward for 1,000 Spotlight or Topps Now PXP, then finish the 5,000-any-player PXP mission. The overlapping PXP totals reach Teoscar's 50-point reward without locking in cards.

The official program lists an optional 30-point Extreme moment and optional pack collections. Neither belongs in the no-lock-in route.

How do you reach 50 points without lock-ins?

Start with five of the seven standard moments. Each is worth four points, and the fifth gets you to 20 points for Lazaro Montes. Montes is a Topps Now card, so he is eligible for the series-specific PXP mission.

The 1,000 PXP you earn with Montes counts at the same time toward the 5,000 PXP mission for any players. Finish that larger mission after the series-specific one and the totals land exactly at 50.

Task block Points Running total
Five standard moments 20 20
Tally 1,000 PXP with Spotlight and/or Topps Now cards 15 35
Tally 5,000 PXP with any players 15 50

Both PXP missions list Ranked, Ranked Co-op, Battle Royale, Events, Weekend Classic, Play vs CPU, Mini Seasons, Conquest and Diamond Quest as eligible modes. The 1,000 PXP is part of the 5,000 PXP total, not an extra amount to earn after it.

What is on the reward path?

Campusano is the 10-point catcher reward, Montes arrives at 20, and Teoscar closes the program at 50. The 40-point pack contains five listed player cards: 99 Bryan Woo, 99 Thomas Saggese, 97 Nick Morabito, 97 Cooper Hjerpe and 97 Yohandy Morales.

Teoscar has 120 contact against left-handed pitching, 108 contact against righties, 115 power against lefties and 81 speed. Those are the stored card attributes, not a gameplay-performance claim.

Which tasks can you skip?

The final two standard moments are optional for this route. You can also leave the 20-home-run and 20-strikeout missions alone because the two PXP missions supply the last 30 points after five moments.

The two pack-collection tasks are optional as well. One requires the two Spotlight cards from the pack for 35 points, while the other requires its three Topps Now cards for 15. The official descriptions say collected player items become No Sell, so do not lock those cards just to reach Teoscar.

The program also contains one-point September Lightning and September Retro Lightning collection tasks. Their descriptions point to rewards arriving Oct. 2, so they are separate from the 50-point program reward.

What should you do first?

Complete five standard moments, add Lazaro Montes to the lineup, then let the two PXP missions progress together in an eligible mode you already plan to play. Claim Teoscar at 50 before considering the pack collection or the Extreme moment.

The card collections can add points, but they are not a requirement for the free reward path.
