Spooky Week opens with two 99 overall cards in MLB The Show 26. J.R. Richard is the Spooky Program reward, while Willie Mays comes from the Spooky Conquest map. They have different acquisition paths, so head to Conquest if Mays is your target.
San Diego Studio scheduled the October 26 drop for around noon Pacific, or 3 p.m. Eastern. New Spooky content continues daily through Friday, October 30.
Quick answer: Find Richard under Programs, Assorted Programs, Themed, then Spooky Program. For Mays, open Conquest and choose the Spooky map.
Which Spooky cards arrived on Monday?
The official launch announcement names both cards and separates their reward paths. Richard is Monday's reveal on the five-day Spooky calendar. Mays is the additional Conquest reward.
| Card | OVR | Position | Where to earn it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spooky J.R. Richard | 99 | SP | Spooky Program |
| Spooky Willie Mays | 99 | CF | Spooky Conquest map |
Look for the Halloween card art shown above when choosing the reward. These are the Spooky versions, so an older Richard or Mays card is a different item.
What does the Spooky Conquest map look like?
The official map preview shows eight opposing team strongholds: the Orioles, Marlins, Mets, Astros, Giants, White Sox, Tigers and Yankees. Your starting stronghold sits at the top of the map, separate from those eight opponents.
That gives you the opposition list before you begin. It does not tell you every goal or the number of games needed to finish. Open View Goals in Conquest and read the objectives before deciding which direction to attack.
The Spooky Program also describes the map as repeatable, with packs, Stubs and other rewards. Check the individual goal rewards before starting a second run. A repeatable map does not by itself mean that every reward can be earned again.
When do the remaining Spooky cards arrive?
The official content schedule runs from Monday, October 26 through Friday, October 30. Richard fills Monday's slot. The four later slots are still question marks in the launch graphic:
| Scheduled day | Spooky reveal |
|---|---|
| Monday, October 26 | J.R. Richard |
| Tuesday, October 27 | Unrevealed |
| Wednesday, October 28 | Unrevealed |
| Thursday, October 29 | Unrevealed |
| Friday, October 30 | Unrevealed |
October 30 is the last scheduled daily drop. No removal deadline was announced with this launch, so the calendar alone does not establish a last chance to claim the cards. The later card names and their requirements remain unrevealed.
Where should you start?
Choose the reward you want first. Mays sends you to the Spooky Conquest map and its goal screen. Richard sends you to the Spooky Program's task list, which says to look for new content, tasks and rewards each day during the October 26–30 run.
Keep the program open as the week progresses so you can check each new day's tasks. You can also browse the MLB The Show 26 program hub for other reward paths to work on alongside the Halloween content.
